Celebration of festivals
Festivals gives us joy, happiness and enthusiasm. The college celebrates different occasions with great fervour. The students are told about the importance of festivals and teachers motivate the students to participate in the celebration of these festivals with great enthusiasm. Every year college celebrates Diwali, Lohri, Makar Sakranti, and New Year with full energy.
Yoga and meditation
As it said, "Health is wealth". To keep students healthy, yoga is followed in college. They are also trained to meditate to avoid stress.
Organization of Extension Lectures
Series of regular memorial lectures on current issues are organized for the students for their professional growth. Experts from various fields are invited to enlighten the students on various areas of education for innovative and research-oriented knowledge.
Co-curricular Activities
The students are encouraged to take participate in co-curricular activities inclusive of group discussion, quiz, drama, dance etc. as a regular part of college structural process for overall development of personality.
Talent Search Programme
The college assesses the knowledge, expression skill of new entrants through talent search program for unfolding the hidden talent of students.
ICT Resource Centre
Information and communication technology deals with the usage of tools and techniques to enhance the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process. The objective of the ICT Resource Centre is to develop competency among prospective teachers in the use of offline and online electronic resources. Our ICT Resource Centre has a network of computers with internet facility along with OHP, Slide Projector, TV, DVD Player for training and creating awareness among prospective teachers about ICT and its use in teaching-learning.
Sport's
All work & no play makes Jack a dull boy- Apart from academics college also emphasized the overall development of students. The college has ample space & good infrastructure for both indoor & outdoor games for the holistic development of students.
Art & Craft Resource Centre
We e can no longer afford to ignore the importance of the art & craft. Both should be important components of learning in the curriculum and they should be taught both as a creative and aesthetic activity and work. Keeping in view these objectives we here at Saraswati College have well equipped Art and Craft Resource Centre with adequate numbers of tools, equipment, raw material and exemplary works of Art & Craft.
